Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Richardson, TX
Position: Full-time

Description:

We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to notify customers of upcoming training courses and retrieve critical information regarding the venue and enrollment. Candidate must be detail oriented and professional in both written and verbal communications.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating logistics for upcoming training courses including location, time, training room, audio/visual equipment, and student materials
Educating customers on Award Solutions’ standard procedures regarding upcoming courses
Communicating internally if changes to standard policies are necessary to meet customer’s requests
Retrieving all logistics information from customers for upcoming courses
Maintaining logistics information for all training courses in an internal database
Communicating logistics information internally as needed
Providing post-course information to customers such as attendee lists and evaluation results
Processing changes to logistics information from customers, including last minute requests
Provide backup support to other logistics roles within the company

Education:

Required: High school diploma

Skills/Experience:

2+ years of experience in administrative duties
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both verbally and written
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers
Detail oriented and highly organized
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
General computer skills, including 2+ years working with MS Word, Excel and Outlook

RF Engineer/Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Instructor

Job Title: Lead Senior RF Engineer for Performance Optimization of UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ Networks
Organization: Technical Staff
Location: Richardson, TX
Travel Required: 50-75%

Description:

We have an immediate need for a Senior/Principal Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in optimizing UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ networks.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading network optimization and mentoring efforts of UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+
Optimization responsibilities include working with operators to fine tune their networks by:

Pilot pollution analysis
Neighbor list analysis
Access and retainability performance improvements
Handover optimization
Data throughput and latency analysis
IRAT and IF handover analysis
Capacity analysis

Mentoring responsibilities include:

Analyzing data
Identifying issues and possible resolutions
Sharing the process and the findings in a workshop environment to teams of engineers

The position will be based in Richardson, TX, but will require significant travel (up to 70%), and possibly placement at client site.

Position Requirements:

Education:

Required: BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related
Preferred: Masters or Ph.D. in digital communications/telecommunications

Skills/Experience:

Required: 4+ years of work experience in UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+
Required: 10+ years of work experience in wireless telecommunications
Required: Extensive experience with UMTS/HSPA network optimization with Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, or Nokia-Siemens equipment. Excellent knowledge of KPIs and optimization techniques.
Required: Significant work experience in one of the following roles:

RF Performance engineer/consultant at a major telecom network equipment vendor
Senior/Principal RF engineer/consultant at a well-known telecom professional services firm
Senior RF engineer at a national service provider

Required: Extensive experience with data collection tools, post processing tools, as well as statistical analysis of network KPI’s and counters
Required: Flexibility to travel as required and be placed on client-site if necessary
Required: Excellent presentation & communication skills
Required: Authorization to work in the US
