Description:

We have an immediate need for Director of Accounts for the EMEA region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company at an exciting pivotal stage of growth.

We are seeking an individual that is capable of driving sales of Award Solutions' products and services to key wireless service providers and equipment vendors in Europe. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans and achieving revenue objectives. The ideal candidate has a background in wireless technologies and a passion for aligning customer needs with the services Award Solutions can provide.

To qualify for the position, the candidate should be accustomed to driving targeted revenues. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Manage and build business with existing regional key accounts
Identify and develop new customers in the region
Create and follow through on annual account and marketing plans
Manage local pricing and in-direct sales channels
Negotiate pricing and delivery terms
Be creative

The position will be based in our EMEA office, and require travel (50% or more).

Position Requirements:

Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering

Skills/Experience:

Required: 8+ years of work experience in the wireless telecom industry. Experience selling engineering services or technical training is a big plus.
Required: Significant work experience in one of the following roles:

Sales with focus on key account management for large organizations
Sales Management with high personal goals

Required: Extensive experience selling services to the wireless telecommunications equipment manufacturers, and/or operators
Required: Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM)
Required: Flexibility to travel as required
Required: Authorization to work in the European Community
Strong track record of delivering or exceeding on a progressively increasing quota
A strong set of client references

RF Engineer for UMTS/HSPA/1xEV-DO/WiMAX Networks

Job Title:Consultant
Organization: Technical Staff
Location: Richardson, TX
Description:

We have an immediate need for Senior/Principle Engineers with hands-on experience in designing and optimizing UMTS/HSPA or 1xEV-DO or WiMAX networks.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading design and optimization efforts of UMTS/HSPA, 1x/1xEV-DO or WiMAX networks
Design responsibilities include performing/reviewing RF designs, model tuning, site audits, analyzing mobile and network data, tuning equipment parameters and antenna positions, managing drive test teams, and mentoring staff
Optimization responsibilities include working with operators to fine tune their networks including pilot pollution analysis, neighbor list analysis, access and retainability performance improvements, handover optimization, data throughput and latency analysis, and capacity analysis
Mentoring includes working with customers to analyze market data and presenting sessions to teach optimization methods, trouble shooting and optimization techniques to teams of engineers

This full-time position will be based in Dallas, TX, but will require significant travel and possibly placement at client site.

Position Requirements:

Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
Preferred: Masters or Ph.D. in digital communications/telecom

Skills/Experience:

Required: 5+ years of work experience in UMTS/HSPA or CDMA (1xRTT, 1xEV-DO) space. 2+ years of hands-on experience with UMTS/HSPA or 1xEV-DO. WiMAX experience is a big plus.
Required: significant work experience in one of the following roles:

RF engineer/consultant at a major telecom network equipment vendor
Senior/Principal RF engineer/consultant at a well-known telecom professional services firm
Senior RF engineer at a national service provider

Required: Extensive experience with UMTS or EVDO RF network optimization with Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Nokia-Siemens, Motorola and/or Nortel equipment. Excellent knowledge of KPIs, messaging, design, and optimization techniques
Required: Extensive experience with data collection tools, post processing tools, design tools, as well as statistical analysis of network KPI's and counters.
Required: Authorization to work in the US
