Instructor led Onsite Training
Award Solutions offers onsite technical courses in wireless technologies and data communications. We offer a range of courses appropriate for those needing a high-level overview, as well as advanced courses with all the technical details. The level of depth in our advance technology training courses in unique to the marketplace. Award is known for teaching "beyond the facts". We bring you the big picture view and explain the how’s and why’s, along with the factual details.

Virtual Classroom Training
The virtual classroom format refers to delivering live training courses over the Internet using web-based multimedia tools. From their own computers, students and instructor can log in to the server hosting the virtual classroom. The instructor acts as a moderator with special privileges to drive the session and can share the presentation material, promote discussion, and conduct Q&A reviews.
Award Solutions brings all the benefits of instructor led onsite training to the virtual classroom. In addition, other benefits can be realized due to the nature of the virtual classroom technology. Clients save on expenses since there are no instructor and student travel-related costs. Also, the audience can be geographically distributed. Content can also be delivered in a series of modules over several half days instead of full days of training. With the right software tools, virtual classrooms can be accessed anywhere by anyone with online access.
Instructor led Public Training
Award offers public training sessions as an alternative to onsite training for individuals or small groups of professionals. Public courses are some of our most popular instructor led courses scheduled in a neutral venue. All the benefits of instructor led onsite training are realized without the requirement to send a full class.
Public courses allow individuals to share expertise and work experience with the different participants, making the course even more interactive. Award offers early-bird discounts when making reservations for public courses three weeks or more in advance.
Performance Workshops
Award Solutions brings together technology theory explained in classrooms with practical applications in a hands-on environment through Performance Workshops. These Performance Workshops are a mixture of classroom training and hands-on application of the concepts learned in class.
Workshops are designed according to your specific needs by starting with a Pre-Workshop Assessment, where our experts develop an agenda that addresses your requirements. The classroom training portion of the workshops includes a mix of technology training to cover prerequisite knowledge, as well as performance and optimization training. Even in the classroom, participants are guided through practical exercises designed to prepare them to apply what they learn. After the classroom, our experts work with the participants to apply their knowledge in their specific environment. An optional Post-Workshop Follow-Up can engage Award’s Performance Solutions services to address specific issues.
Self-Paced eLearning
Designed to accommodate a wide variety of learning styles, our eLearning courses take full advantage of the multimedia medium. Each course allows the student the option of full audio with narrated text and colorful animations designed to enhance the learning experience. Every eLearning course allows the student to navigate through the courses according to their own interests and needs, rather than in a strictly “linear” fashion. Review questions in a variety of formats test the understanding throughout each topic. A scored, comprehensive quiz at the end of each course gives students the opportunity to assess their understanding.
Our eLearning courses are designed with busy schedules in mind. Courses are divided into topics that the average student can cover in fifteen minutes or less. Students also have the training literally at their fingertips; they can review detailed subjects whenever they want, and as often as needed, in order to digest all of the information covered.
Lunch & Learn
Award Solutions offers Lunch & Learn Seminars for a multitude of different technologies. Lunch & Learn Seminars are shorter instructor led onsite sessions that allow students to sample Award’s instructor led courses while keeping up with emerging technologies. Some examples include HSDPA and HSUPA, 1xEV-DO (Rev C), and WiMAX.
These short seminars are an excellent way to help your team quickly learn the highlights of technologies. We customize our course material to provide an informational overview on cutting-edge technologies and give a glimpse of Award’s current training courses.
Webinars
Award Solutions’ Webinars provide a compact overview of current technologies. Intructor led, and typically no longer than 90 minutes, they are delivered live via the web, so students can participate in webinars from within their natural habitats!
Webinars work well for those who do not need a lot of detail on a technology, and for those who eventually need more detail but want an early look today. As with on-site instructor led courses, participants are able to ask questions throughout the session, and the sessions employ web-multimedia tools to keep the participants engaged.
