To meet the rapidly growing IP data traffic in wireless networks, 3GPP is working on the evolution of LTE networks a.k.a. LTE-Advanced. LTE-Advanced system is designed to increase the peak data rates of 1 Gbps in a fixed/nomadic conditions, one of the requirements of IMT-Advanced. This seminar provides an overview of LTE-Advanced features of 3GPP.
