Wireless networks complement wireline networks. Both 3G and WiFi wireless networks have become part of our daily lives by providing broadband connectivity anywhere, anytime. People want to stay connected with friends and family, with clients and colleagues, to the information they need, and with the gadgets that keep them engaged. Seamless mobility gives people the ability to communicate without much thought about the background technology; it is just ‘Always On’ with continuity of connection and experience. This course identifies the needs for seamless mobility and explains how seamless mobility is achieved in different types of wireless networks including mobility in 3G wireless networks, WiFi networks, Cable/Wired networks and emerging WiMAX networks. Note: All eLearning courses are web-based and require an internet connection to access the course. eLearning courses purchased online have a 6 month access period per purchased license.
